Hornets finally get the job done

It is the first piece of silverware the club has won since 1984 when the Hornets won the Carlisle League.

Chairman Mark Risley said: “We have come close on several occasions over the last 40 years only to fall short so everyone is delighted with this achievement.”

“We have had 40 players wear the black and amber shirt this season and every single one of them has contributed to this success.”
